My mom, as many people will say, is truly the BEST in not just the mother category but in the friend category. Many mothers try not to be a friend of their daughter or son, but i think my mom being one of my best friends, who i can talk to about virtually anything in the world has helped me be the person i am today. I look up to my mom in numerous ways and for guidance in life. She is extremely hardworking, and self sufficient. My mom has taught me to be the best that I can be and aim for nothing less then spectacular. I hope I can learn from her, how to achieve everything i want to be in life, and all the things that she can do on her one without help from someone else.
My momma is not just my mother but truly is one of my closest friends. A lot of girls in their teenage years say how much they hate their mothers, and some times i may act like i really do hate my mom but i know deep down i love her unconditionally, and i really don’t hater her. and that i will grow out of this stage and my mom and i will become even closer, and i will look for her for advice on everything…… including clothes. My mom has to be a very forgiving person to live with me, and some days i do make poor decisions and will stay out late, and lie to her about what I’m doing or who I’m with but at the end of the day i know she is there for me no matter what happens. I am certainly not perfect and neither is she… but hey! were human, no one is .
My mom is an amazing cook, and that is one thing i look forward to learning from her in the future, how to make her amazing meat balls, and hot fudge. When i leave college i know i will miss that so much, especially since my sandwiches for school are always so much better when they have the mother’s magic touch on them. My mom is inspirational to me and her friends, she has been through a lot in her life. My mom lost her mom when she wanted her the most, and I truly believe she deserves the world, and everything it has to offer.
My mom and I may have our up and down moments, but at the end of the day we can sit on the couch together and talk and laugh about our lives and everything that makes us up smile or laugh, or whether or not we had a large air head moment during the day. I love my mom so much she truly is an amazing woman. If I could only have one thing to learn from her, it would definitely be how to be an amazing mom and woman just like her. Oh yeah this amazing mother’s name is Jennifer Veit. I love you! – Allie 
Congrats Jenn, you have accomplished the highest award a woman can obtain. Your daughter not only loves you, she respects you, honors you and looks up to you. Kudos to you! and she is right, you are amazing!

I have know Jen before she was a mother to Allie, and even before Allie came into this world she display warmth and caring for her step children. When Allie came along it was as though a bright light entered into this world and Jen focus was making Allie the happiest child in every way. Jen is such a wonderful mother and friend I do agree with Allie she deserves the world! She also had a great teacher in her mother so the cycle continues.
