The Amazing Verano Race

Excitement is building at PGA Village Verano as March draws nearer and brings with it the start of The Amazing Verano Race. Residents at PGA Village Verano have always enjoyed an active clubhouse and a bustling social calendar, and now with the announcement of The Amazing Verano Race they are looking forward to new ways to celebrate life at PGA Village Verano, and to make the most out of the fabulous amenities and privileges that life at Verano affords.

Prizes will be awarded for participants and winners totaling $5,000, including a Grand Prize of a Cruise for two for the actual winners!  Organized by PGA Village Verano and PGA Village Golf Club, the events will begin in March and will conclude in December with the Grand Prize being awarded to the winner directly after the conclusion of the final event.

The schedule of events are listed below 

• August 18th, 2011   – Summer Pool & BBQ Party at the Verano Pool starting from 1:00pm to 5:00pm
• September 1st, 2011 – 9 & Wine event to be played on the Ryder Course starting at 3:00pm.
• September 15th, 2011 – PGA Village Scavenger Hunt from 4:00pm to 6:00pm starting.
• October 6th, 2011 – Night Golf Event from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Short Course at PGA Golf Club.
• October 20th, 2011 – Octoberfest at the Verano Sales Office from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
• November 3rd, 2011 – Short Game Clinic at the Center for Learning & Performance from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
• November 17th, 2011 – Cocktails & Trivia at the Verano Sales Office from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
• December 1st, 2011 – Holiday wine tasting event at the Champions Grille at PGA Golf Club starting at 6:00pm.
• December 15th, 2011 – 9 Hole Scramble on the Ryder Course at PGA Golf Club starting at 3:00pm.
