Director of Wellness & Resort Operations

Overview

Kolter Homes is seeking a dynamic Director of Lifestyle & Wellness to help shape and deliver an elevated, resort-inspired lifestyle experience across our growing portfolio of communities. This highly visible leadership role combines lifestyle, wellness, hospitality, entertainment, and amenity operations to create engaging resident experiences and establish consistent standards across our communities.

Working closely with the Vice President of Resort Lifestyle, community leadership, property management partners, Sales, and Marketing, the Director will turn our broader lifestyle vision into scalable programs, standards, and experiences that can be successfully executed at the community level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable lifestyle and wellness standards, programs, and SOPs across communities.
• Create and evolve programming encompassing wellness, longevity, fitness, racquet sports, entertainment, social activities, clubs, education, and signature events.
• Partner with Lifestyle Directors, Wellness Managers, and property management teams to deliver consistent, resort-level resident experiences.
• Coach, train, and inspire community teams while establishing clear programming, service, and brand standards.
• Conduct community visits and operational assessments to evaluate programming, resident experience, amenity utilization, and brand consistency.
• Build relationships with strategic partners, wellness experts, speakers, entertainment resources, and vendors.
• Support the launch and activation of new communities and amenities.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to showcase lifestyle and wellness through resident and prospect events, presentations, and video content.
• Monitor resident engagement, satisfaction, programming performance, and industry trends to continually enhance the resident experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a polished and engaging leader with strong operational and organizational skills who can transform big-picture ideas into executable programs. Candidates should be comfortable presenting, hosting events, representing the brand publicly, and coaching and influencing teams across multiple locations.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, although relevant experience may substitute. Candidates should have 7+ years of leadership experience in resort hospitality, lifestyle operations, wellness, membership or private clubs, active-adult communities, or another sophisticated amenity-driven environment.

Location & Travel

Location is flexible, with preference given to candidates based in GA, Carolinas, or Florida. This position requires regular travel to communities throughout the portfolio.
