Finding a new home community that offers amenities that will support your healthy lifestyle is important. And while a Fitness Center, Resort-Style Pool, and Sports Courts will ensure you have endless recreational opportunities, have you ever considered how a full-time Lifestyle Director enhances this experience?

At Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes, lifestyle programs are facilitated by a full-time Lifestyle Director, Nicole Jurovics. Nicole coordinates social activities, events, classes, and lectures that appeal to varying interests, so all Cresswind residents have to do is show up and have fun!

Meet Nicole Jurovics, Lifestyle Director
My career path has been centered on crafting and organizing conferences, retreats, and events related to yoga, music, and wellness. When my friend and then Lifestyle Director for Cresswind at Lake Lanier, Mark LaClaire, called me about a Lifestyle Director position at Cresswind Peachtree City, I was blown away that a position existed that encompassed my love for event-planning and community-building. I dove into my new job with gratitude and gusto. I started at Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes in 2020.

Yoga at Cresswind Twin Lakes

Q: While the clubhouse will open in 2022, there's still a lot happening at Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes. What types of events and activities are residents & future residents participating in?
As a brand new community, Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes immediately launched a Welcome Committee, assuring that homeowners greet new neighbors with handmade cards and home-baked goodies. People who met each other only weeks ago are now walking, lunching, and card-gaming together each week.

Residents have participated in weekly yoga classes, tai chi, line dancing, and outdoor trivia at nearby local businesses. We’ve created a temporary concert lawn and enjoy frequent live bands while homeowners bring their own lawn chairs and picnic baskets. For sure, our outdoor concerts are a highlight for our current and future homeowners, featuring full event production and incredible talent. We’ve enjoyed day trips to the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Trolley Night featuring the iconic Braselton trolley, giving folks even more opportunity to explore their new “backyard” and meet new neighbors. And our vendor fairs, my personal favorite! Utilizing the driveways in the model park, we welcome vendors, many of whom are homeowners, offering handmade crafts and home goods, local art, services, and more. And of course, delicious food from our sponsors and live music.

Pickleball at Cresswind Twin Lakes

Q: The first ever Cresswind Cup will be held in October. How popular is pickleball at Twin Lakes and how excited are residents for this event?
For the most part, our community is new to pickleball but aware of its reputation as an addictive and exciting sport! In April 2021, we celebrated the debut of the first half of our beautiful new courts with a wonderful pickleball clinic organized by Georgia Pickleball Association ambassadors as well as members of the Cresswind Lake Lanier Pickleball Club. Over 70 attendees took part, and our community definitely got bit by the pickleball bug! A pickleball club formed soon after that, and a bi-weekly open play is going strong. We hosted two regional tournaments in July, in large part, so we’d have a trial run before the epic Cresswind Cup tournament lands here in October!

We are so excited for this event and know how unique it is to bring the southeast Kolter communities together for friendly competition and a chance to show off the Cresswind Cup trophy in the coming year. Our homeowners look forward to participating or simply watching, enjoying, and cheering on our home team from our brand new eagle’s nest viewing area. It’s going to be a great, big weekend.

Concerts at Cresswind Twin Lakes
Q: What fun activities are in store for Cresswind Twin Lakes residents the rest of this year?

As the weather gets cooler, we’ll have a big outdoor Halloween concert and costume party on October 30th. We’ll also enjoy a smaller concert and one more outdoor trivia event in November, and then it’s time for our Holiday Market in early December. It’s always exciting to watch the community grow, and friendships take hold. We’ll squeeze as many outdoor events as we can into the calendar until the clubhouse arrives in the second half of 2022!
