Third Annual Cresswind Kolter Cup by Kolter Homes Hosts 250+ Pickleball Players
Event Overview
Kolter Homes, renowned for developing next-generation, amenity-rich, master-planned active adult communities in the Southeastern U.S., recently held its third annual Cresswind Kolter Cup at Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes in Hoschton, Georgia. The event brought together over 250 pickleball players from nine Cresswind and Kolter communities across Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Competition Format & Winners
The tournament featured a doubles-team format, with points awarded for each match win across six skill divisions. The team with the highest total points was crowned the overall champion. This year, Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes emerged victorious, earning the right to display the Cresswind Cup trophy in its community clubhouse until next year's competition. PGA Village Verano, last year's defending champion, secured second place, while Cresswind Palm Beach, a first-time participant, took third place.
Celebrating Community & Camaraderie
Mark LaClaire, Director of Lifestyle at Kolter Homes, emphasized the significance of the event: “The Cresswind Cup is more than just a tournament—it’s a celebration of community, camaraderie, and the active lifestyle that defines Cresswind. Bringing together players from four states, this year’s event was our largest and most competitive yet. Watching Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes take home the trophy on their home courts was a proud moment, and we’re thrilled to see how this tradition continues to grow each year.”
