6.2 Garage Doors
Garage door fails to operate or fit
properly.

allow light to be visible through
the door are deficiencies.
Where it is understood by
Builder/Seller and You carpet is
planned to be installed
as floor finish by Builder/
Seller, the bottom of the doors
which drag on the carpet are
deficiencies.
Passage doors from room
to room that have openings
between the bottom of
the door and the floor finish
material in excess of 1 1/2-inches
are deficiencies.
Closet doors having an
opening in excess of
2-inches are deficiencies.
NONE.
Double hung windows are
permitted to move within a two
inch tolerance, up or down when
put in an open position. Any
excessive movement exceeding
the tolerance is a deficiency.
Garage door fails to operate or

and fit the door opening within
the manufacturer’s installation

Some entrance of the elements
can be expected under heavy
weather conditions and is not
considered a deficiency.
Windows should require no greater
operating force than that described

of Limited Warranty coverage.

to meet the manufacturer’s

No adjustment is required
when cause is determined
to result from anyone but
Builder/Seller’s or Builder/
Seller’s subcontractors’
installation of an electric door
opener.
Builder/Seller shall correct

manufacturer’s specifications.
